Cavalier Oceanfront Resort, San Simeon

The hotel boasts an incredible location with breathtaking ocean views and easy access to the nearby beach. While the room had its drawbacks, such as dated decor and a persistent odor, the overall experience was enjoyable. The service was mostly attentive, although there was a bit of a rush during check-in. Dining options weren't satisfying, particularly when the restaurant refused to accommodate us late in the evening, which added to the frustration. Overall, I appreciated the area's beauty and the cozy atmosphere, despite the few bumps.

My stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience, especially as a dog owner. The oceanfront location allowed my furry friend and me to enjoy beautiful views and access the beach easily. The grounds, complete with fire pits, were perfect for socializing, but I did find the rooms a bit outdated. Overall, it's a great spot, albeit with some room for improvement in the room updates.
